Trading rules

KG Funded uses a single, transparent set of trading objectives. Meet the profit target without breaching the loss limit, trade for the minimum number of days, and you can progress toward a payout. Every value below is taken from the KG Funded platform.

Core objectives

Profit target+8% of your starting balance to pass the evaluation.
Maximum lossYour equity must stay above 95% of your starting balance — a 5% maximum loss.
Maximum daily lossYour equity must not fall more than 5% below the equity you started the day with. The daily limit resets at the start of each day.
Trailing profit-lockOnce your account is in profit, it must stay above 90% of the highest equity it has reached. In other words, your loss limit is always the higher of 95% of your starting balance or 90% of your peak equity — this locks in profit as your account grows.
Time limitNone. There is no deadline to pass the evaluation — take the time you need.
Holding limitsNo metals position may be held while the metals market is closed (weekends, and the daily break 01:00–02:00 Dubai time / 21:00–22:00 UTC). No crypto position may be held open longer than 12 hours. Breaking either limit fails the account.
Minimum trading days5 distinct trading days before your first payout.
Profit splitYou keep 80%–90% of profits, depending on account size (see programs).

The full drawdown, eligibility and conduct rules — including any conditions specific to funded accounts — are set out in the Terms & Conditions.

What counts as a breach

An account fails if its equity falls to or below its loss floor — the highest of: 95% of your starting balance, 90% of your peak equity, or 95% of the equity you started the day with (the daily limit). When a breach is detected, open positions are closed and trading is stopped on that account. You can start again with a new evaluation account at any time.

Permitted & prohibited practices

Permitted

  • Copy trading
  • Holding more than one account (each traded independently)

Not permitted

  • Automated trading (Expert Advisors / bots)
  • Trading during high-impact news events
  • Holding a metals position while the metals market is closed
  • Holding a crypto position open longer than 12 hours
  • Hedging the same position across multiple accounts

Additional conduct conditions are set out in the Terms & Conditions.

Market hours & holding limits

These limits are automatically enforced — if you break one, the account is closed out and fails, and you would need to start a new evaluation:

Market-close times are global — the same moment worldwide — and shown in Dubai time (UTC+4) / UTC.

Evaluation vs. funded account

Evaluation

Reach the +8% profit target while keeping your equity above the 95% floor. This demonstrates consistent, risk-controlled trading.

Funded account

Once evaluated, you trade a funded account and can request payouts of your profit share once the payout conditions are met.

Optional plans

Consistency plan

You choose a daily profit target (15%, 25% or 30%). Before your first withdrawal you must hit that target on 5 trading days — this shows steady, repeatable performance. An easier target costs a little more. All other rules are identical to the standard account; nothing is burned for a slow day.

Consistency-Burn (200K)

A high-discipline challenge. The target is 30%, but two rules apply every day: you may not exceed 30% profit in a single day, and you must trade every trading day (Mon–Fri; weekends are free). Breaking either rule ends the account immediately. Built for experienced, disciplined traders.

Trading involves substantial risk and you can lose access to an account by breaching the rules. Nothing here is investment advice. See the Risk Disclosure.
