Getting started
What is KG Funded?
KG Funded is a proprietary trading firm that runs structured trading evaluations. Traders who reach the profit target without breaching the loss limit can progress to a funded trading account and keep a share of the profits they generate.
How do I get started?
Choose an account size on the Programs page, complete checkout, and start trading in your portal. See How it works for the full journey.
What account sizes are available?
Five tiers: $10,000, $25,000, $50,000, $100,000 and $200,000.
Can I have more than one account?
Yes — you can hold more than one KG Funded account, and each is traded and evaluated independently. Note that hedging the same position across multiple accounts is not permitted.
Programs & payments
How much does an evaluation cost?
One-time fees: $89 ($10K), $189 ($25K), $299 ($50K), $499 ($100K), $899 ($200K). See Programs.
How do I pay?
Evaluation accounts are purchased online and paid in crypto at checkout.
Trading rules
What is the profit target?
+8% of your starting balance to pass the evaluation.
What is the maximum loss?
Your equity must stay above 95% of your starting balance — a 5% maximum loss. There is also a 5% maximum daily loss (measured from the equity you started the day with), and once you are in profit a 10% trailing limit from your peak equity. Reaching any of these floors fails the account.
Is there a time limit to pass?
No. There is no deadline to complete the evaluation — take the time you need.
Are there limits on how long I can hold a position?
Yes — and they’re automatically enforced. Metals positions must not be held while the metals market is closed (weekends, and the daily break 01:00–02:00 Dubai time / 21:00–22:00 UTC). Crypto positions must not stay open more than 12 hours. Breaking either limit fails the account.
How many trading days are required?
A minimum of 5 distinct trading days before your first payout.
What happens if I breach a rule?
If your equity reaches the maximum-loss floor, open positions are closed and trading stops on that account. You can start a new evaluation at any time.
Funded accounts & payouts
What’s the difference between an evaluation and a funded account?
In the evaluation you prove consistency by hitting the +8% target within the rules. Once evaluated, you trade a funded account and can request payouts of your profit share.
How much of the profit do I keep?
80%–90% depending on account size.
When and how can I withdraw?
You withdraw profits only, after at least 5 trading days and while in profit. A single payout is capped at 10% of your starting balance, a 3% buffer must remain, and the minimum payout is $50. Approved payouts are sent in crypto. See Payouts.
KYC & support
Do I need to verify my identity (KYC)?
Yes — KYC is required before any payout is released.
